To all my very dear clients and their precious families:
I am writing this letter with the greatest sadness in my heart. It is necessary for us to temporarily close Hugs and Bugs until we find a new location and possibly a business partner. I treasure the relationships I have made through this business. I can’t describe how wonderful it has been watching the pregnant mommies come in and dream about the day they have that first little blessing in their arms. It is even more amazing when they bring in that new bundle of joy to meet me. Oh, how my ovaries ache!!! Many of you know that Mike, Ella and I do not have family here or any where close. You have let us into your family with unlimited love. These experiences are not what most people would consider success in business but I do! Hugs and Bugs have provided a great, unique service for so many families in Utah, not to mention the various other states from coast to coast. Your support has been incredible. I knew it would be difficult to make this business model work but I knew that once it was understood it would work. Let’s face it. We all love our children to look nice and save tons of money at the same time!
To be very honest, I have had some troubles with my location and you all know of my crazy schedule. I just became aware of a potential compliance violation with my location and must move as soon as possible. However, I have not located another site at this time. I wanted you to hear it straight from me. You deserve my honesty and respect.
We will have detailed information on our website, www.hugsandbugs.com, as to the process of picking up your items and our blowout sales. We ask that you utilize the website as much as possible and stop in and say hello.
If you are so kind to donate your items that do not sell, please stop by or send us an email through our website. We are donating to The Road Home Shelter that has over a hundred children in their facility at any given night. We are also donating specific items of need to one of my clients that is living in Ethiopia and working for Holt International. She is currently opening an orphanage from scratch. She is a single Mom that adopted a child from this region a few years ago. She felt the need to give back. So she and her 3 year old daughter left the comforts of their Holliday home and moved to help strangers in a dangerous region. I hope that someday I become so selfless. She is an amazing woman that I am very fortunate to have in my life thanks to this store. I hope to continue to be of some help to her mission in these little lives.
In closing, let me again say thank you for everything. Hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Lauren, Mike and Ella
